OWNER'S EQUITY
Buying a business that already works gives you customers, a team and cash flow on day one, without the years of risk that come with starting from zero.
Owner's Equity exists because of what is happening right now:
→ A salary is income, not an asset. Jobs feel less secure every year, and a paycheck stops the day you do.
→ A generation of owners is retiring. Baby boomers own more small businesses than any generation before them, and many have no one lined up to take over.
→ The money is there. SBA loans let a first-time buyer purchase a profitable business with a fraction of the price as a down payment.
DOOR 1
Take over a business that already works.
DOOR 2
Build from scratch, with your eyes open.
DOOR 3
Keep the paycheck and still own something. Back someone else's deal: you own a piece; they run it.
Simply put, we help people at the start of the journey make the right ownership decision, before they bet their savings on it.
Buy a business, start one, or stay in your job and back someone else's deal. Making the right decision, for you, is 80% of your future success. The rest is hard work and discipline.

Today he leads Dunross Capital Partners and his family's permanent-capital holding company, which buys and builds essential service businesses and real estate.
He has made 25+ acquisitions and start-ups, and learned a few expensive lessons along the way. He shares those lessons every week on YouTube and in this newsletter.
He holds an OPM from Harvard Business School, is a CPA and a licensed real estate broker, and is a former jet-rated pilot. He lives in East Hampton, New York.
